Does Shakespeare`s plays relate to reality?

I am now reading a book entitled 'Romeo And Juliet'. Dunn think I`m emo or something..I just wanted to read it. All of us definitely know what the story is all about.I`ll try and summarise the story a bit because I`m not done reading it.

One fine day in the fine city of Verona, there were two families who had been enemies for a LONG time. They were the Montagues and the Capulets.Romeo Montague was in need of love.He once loved a woman but she swore to herself that she will remain as a virgin forever. So he,alongside with his cousin, decided to go to a ball the Capulets were having. His cousin wanted Romeo to learn to forget the woman he used to love and repair the hole in his heart by falling in love with another girl. Then,Romeo met Juliet.Juliet and Romeo kissed and made it last. Now,Romeo is in love with Juliet because she loves him back but the only thing holding them back from love was that Juliet, being a Capulet and Romeo, being a Montague, were supposed to be sworn enemies. That`s all so far.

But I come to this very blog not to tell you the story.I just wanna type myy feelings about Shakespeare and his plays. His plays would always have someone dying in the end.As for Romeo And Juliet,Romeo would die and Juliet, seeing Romeo dead, would stab herself and die alongside with him.Can all this relate to reality? If someone dies because of their love for you, would you die with him or her?Maybe this is all the work of Venus and her son,Cupid.
