Moolah on the holidays? OMG how long have I not been updating?
Don't get any ideas ; I don't gots a tumblr. Following people seems like a tedious job. Speaking of jobs,I went for the open auditions for a job as an artiste(woots!) in Sentosa's IMAGES OF SINGAPORRRRE(IOS)! Talked to a few new people. About 8 people were there. So we had to go to the Karaoke Room(unglam place for audition,oh well) in pairs. I didn't personally know anyone but the Myanmar girl,Azili(I think that's her name),decided that we should go together. Saves me the time to panic,yeah? Well,fyi,my sister works at IOS so that's how I found out about the auditions. Most of the auditionees found out the same way too - through the people already working there. Gosh,I wished my sister was there. Would've been much better with her around. But I guess the auditioners didn't want that. You know,family and stuff. HELL,they didn't let my sister give me a score! Okay when we went in the room, out of the three auditioners, I knew 2. WHOAMAIGOD. Then I knew that I had to do well because well,because my sister's an artiste. Stupid high expectations. So basically the audition went like this : 1. Acting for IOS 2. Singing a random song 3. Acting for Songs of the Sea(SOS) 4. Perform dance steps taught earlier 5. Jump around like mad to please audience? Oh so stressful. ESPECIALLY THE LAST TWO PARTS! And on top of that,almost the whole crew (and my sister) was there to watch the last two! Like ohemgee. Struggled like siao arhhh. Went home alone feeling sort-of depressed and telling myself that I can't get in. Then hell,yesterday my sister told me I got in IOS. I said, "NO. NO. NO,I don't believe." Then rushed to check my inbox. Nothing. Then just today,found the email that I was looking for. OHEMGEE NOW I BELIEVE. I'm happy with $7.20 per hour. (: At least no plastic bags are involved. O_O SENTOSA HERE I COMEEEE~ P.S. Mummy's getting me a new violin as my birthday present. Heee. :D | |
